a list of 30 people under 30.
30 outstanding individuals.
This is a different group.
The 30 over 30,
people who happen
to be over 30 years old.
All these people are alive.
They made it onto this list
for no particular reason.
Today I did the quarterly payroll taxes
the weekly taxes and then ran around
gathering pumpkins and apples and things for muffins.
We play Mahjong,
we play Mahjong at least once a month
at the Chester Library.
I am just coming from the food co-op
where I bought two huge pumpkins
that I’m going to carve at home
with my two little boys.

This man is a painter.
Oil and canvas are his life.
This man fell in love with his hand.
One day with a bit of luck,
this person will be on the list.
